Det er nu muligt for erfarne medarbejdere eller selvstændige med en teknisk eller naturvidenskabelig baggrund at skærpe eller udvide sine kompetencer gennem enkeltkurser eller en fleksibel master inden for Power-to-X.
På tværs af fire danske universiteter kan man tage enkeltkurser og eventuelt stykke dem sammen til master over en periode på op til 6 år. Der findes kurser på master-, kandidat- og ph.d.-niveau.
Denne erhvervsrettede efteruddannelse i Power-to-X er udviklet i et unikt samarbejde mellem universiteterne SDU, AU, AAU og DTU og relevante virksomheder.

The flexible master has been designed in collaboration with the world around us and companies involved in and with Energy Storage, aiming at people who dream of pursuing a meaningful career within Power-to-X.
The program is designed to be flexible both across Danish universities as well as in duration to cater for where you are both in your career and family life. For this education it is possible to take courses on their own or a combination of courses from master programs, candidate- or PhD programs offered by AAU, AU, DTU and SDU.
The courses are divided into 3 areas of expertise: Energy Storage, Power-to-X and System Integration. Furthermore, there are several basic prerequisites courses.
Admission requirements
A flexible master has a business-oriented dimension. To be admitted to the flexible master’s program in Power-to-X, you must have a technical or scientific education at bachelor’s level and at least two years of relevant work experience. During the study period you will follow advanced courses and obtain a total of 60 ETCS points, after which you will receive the academic title ‘Master’.
Guidance and plan
A Master in Power-to-X is organized in collaboration with you. You must apply for admission to the university where you think you will take most courses or write your final project, but you can choose courses from any of the universities.
Application form and point of contact:
If you meet the admission requirements, you will be assigned a supervisor who will help you put together an education plan. The plan must set goals, content, timetable etc. for your courses and for the agreement between you and the university.
You can get credit for up to 10 ECTS points obtained on master’s modules or master’s subjects abroad. Credit is assessed by the supervisor. The individual courses and a graduation project will give you a clear professional progression and profile as well as a level of competence corresponding to master’s level.
Individual courses and the graduation project must correspond to one year of full-time study (60 ECTS-point). Most individual courses are worth 5 points, and the graduation project is worth 15 points. However, some courses are worth 10 points. The education can be organized as full-time or part-time study.
The master’s program must be completed within a period of six years.
Teaching and examination
You will follow classes and take exams together with ordinary full-time students.
Participant payment
A fee is charged both for the initial guidance and for courses. The price may vary slightly for the individual universities. In addition, there may be extra payment for laboratory work. Rates are indicative.

Plans are to establish a network for master students across Denmark.
