The working groups of DaCES meet to focus on research and development in one of the most important challenges we have today: European Energy Storage Independence.

Increased global instability necessitates discussing technology pathways that can lead to independent energy storage supply chains for Europe.

The day will focus on:

1. Storage technologies experts’ point of view, from both our chairs and members.
2. Sources of dependencies & barriers for European energy storage independence.
3. Research and development directions for increasing independence.

The morning program consists of presentations from a chair and company for each of our working groups.

The afternoon program focuses on group discussions of energy storage & conversion dependencies and potential ways around them.
